made at a tiny coop up in the Valle d'Aosta, a blend of Nebbiolo with several local varietals, light in body yet intensely flavored, with alluring spiciness and refreshing acidity

Cabernet Sauvignon from a natural winemaker in Pavia, in Lombardy, full-bodied but in a fairly cool style, with integrated tannins and hints of coffee and dark chocolate

a baby Brunello at a fraction of the price, very elegant, with beautiful fruit, soft tannins, and a long finish
