a citrus backbone fleshed out by ample mineral notes finishing with a very subtle smoky/woody note
(new vintage) Airfield 2011 Chardonnay @ $13.99
unoaked from Washington state, crisp, dry, and refreshing with vibrant acidity, a round mouthfeel, and lingering flavors of zesty citrus
Langoux 2011 Pouilly Fume @ $16.99
grown on the opposite bank of the Loire from Sancerre, a little more complex and flowery than its neighbor, dry, lively and fresh with well-defined fruit
(new vintage) Enodelta 2010 Greco di Tufo @ $17.99
a crisp, mouth-watering white with green apple and grapefruit on the nose; with zesty citrus and minerals on the palate
John Anthony 2010 Sauvignon Blanc @ $20.99
from Napa Valley, crisp and clean, with plenty of citrus notes on both the nose and the palate
Girardin 2009 Santenay @ $35.99
from an archetypal Burgundy producer, a white of great elegance and grace, with subtle Chardonnay flavors wrapped in a cachet of vanilla and spice

one of our favorites from the Sonoma Coast, a smooth and supple Pinot with flavor notes of ripe plum. fig, orange, and licorice. bold yet graceful on the palate with supple tannins and a lingering coastal minerality on the finish
Talbot 2004 St. Julien @ $57.99
sumptuous and complex, with a Provencal-like bouquet of roasted herbs, cherries, licorice, and underbrush, tart acidity that provides freshness, and an overall impression of abundant currant and cherry fruit presented in a forward style
Clos des Jacobins 2009 St. Emilion @ $64.99
mostly Merlot with some Cabernet Franc, a big chewy wine, unctuously textured, declared by Parker a sleeper of the vintage and the best wine from this estate since 1982
